Rinaldo di Stasio of St Kilda’s longstanding Café di Stasio has transported his beloved Italian favourites to what he coins the ‘Milan end’ of the city. Silken handmade pasta and delightful bar snacks get the artistic treatment in a design-driven interior, replete with video projections on the concrete walls. The atmosphere manages to stay intimate, with bar space, impeccable service and a serious list of vino. Città has two hats from the Good Food Guide 2023, plus inclusion on its best-of-2022 list, won Best New Restaurant on the 2019 delicious.100 list and received the gong for Gourmet Traveller’s New Restaurant of the Year 2020.
